Name: Lynn Pierrot
Birthday: Winter 10th
Job: Street Performer
Favorite Gift: Forget Me Nots
If you double-cross her at any time then she will certainly find a way to return the hurt feelings that were felt. Since she is generally considerate of the various types of people, if you offend either her profession, family, or her admiration for a certain girl then Lynn, without a doubt, would make you pay.Optimistic-
Instead of seeing the negative side to everything in the world, she tries to see first if there is anything good that can come out of it. You can easily persuade her to try something but if she doesn’t like it or thinks that it is a bad idea then she will let you know in advance. Shy/Quiet-
Around people she will usually keep to herself and never speak. The last person outside of her household who heard her speak was the same girl she met a few years back. In costume, she is courageousSubmissive-
Only applies when you give her either sweets or Forget Me Nots, other than that good luck trying to make her do whatever you want her to do.Fidgety-
Whenever she is without her costume it makes her fell naked and vulnerable but to fix that she will wear her mask all over the place. However if she sits down for too long then she becomes slightly awkward and stiff. Hard-working-
A word she lives to fill for both her family and her audience. When she isn’t performing, which she usually is, then you can find her doing small jobs and requests from people who desperately need help. Even if a kid lost their mom, she would stop and help the kid find his or her mother no matter what. Nervous-
Only with new people. If you can somehow manage to talk to her then you have finally been accepted into this young girl’s heart. If something doesn’t make her feel comfortable then she will do everything she can to get away from it or someone.
Long before Lynn’s birth, her ancestors were a very prosperous and proud group. Their small farm somehow always managed to produce more than what was needed but no one ever complained about it. Whenever they were not in need of money, the younger generation would bring baskets full of fresh fruits and vegetables to every family that needed food or just something to life the spirits. You never had to give something back in return for the food provided. When the curse was spread across the land, it completely wiped out the farm that belonged to Lynn’s family. The only thing left was to sell the land and move far away from the island and ever look back.
Lynn’s parents were very young when they married each other and moved back to the island in search of the family farm. The only stuff they had in their name was a bed and the deed to the land which was given to them so suddenly. The lover’s raised the farm and were success in making it last. A couple of months later, Lynn’s mother found out that she was pregnant with the family’s first and only child. Their small income would no longer be able to support their growing family so the father was forced to get another job, even more than one job at times when the economy was rough on them.
From age three, Lynn never saw much of her parents. They were always working until late hours in the night. Her mother’s mother came to live with them and raise Lynn alone when her parents weren’t home. Growing up she never thought of it was a horrible life, in fact she was much happier when her grandmother would tell her stories about the past. Though, upon entering elementary school just a few years later, her grandmother passed away that morning right after Lynn waved goodbye to her. The funeral didn’t last long since none of the relatives wanted to make the long journey for one person who they already knew was going to die eventually from old age. Lynn was taken out of school for that week but nobody even noticed that she was gone. Since that day, no one has ever seen her eyes anymore.
Age the age of seven; her mother abandoned the family after having such a horrible fight her husband. Lynn never saw nor heard from her mother except for the monthly letter she would receive along with a picture; her mother aged gracefully over the time period. Alone, Lynn would walk herself to school with whatever lunch she could make at home. At school it was supposed to be the best time in her miserable life but that was far from the actual truth. Every day she would eat lunch alone outside with the wild rabbits and squirrels that she would generously give part of her food to. One day when she was walking to meet with her furry friends, a group of much larger girls grabbed Lynn’s lunch from her and spit on it. They left lynn there all alone thinking that she would start crying but she never shed a tear; it soon become a regular time that happened at school. At home she was in charge of the cleaning and cooking for her tired father whenever he came home from a long day of working. Lynn would stay up until late hours waiting for her dad to come home.
Upon turning 8, her life became even harder when her father started running a horrible fever from working in the cold weather. Lynn hated watching him smile and tell her that everything was going to be okay which she knew was a lie. She used the last bit of money she had been saving to make a performer costume. After school she would run home and check on her father, afterwards she would put on her costume and mask then run off to the town square and perform for everyone. Their laughter at her didn’t affect her that much but it made her heart become slightly empty. The last letter from her mother was the worst one she had ever received. Inside the envelope contained money that her new step-father sent; even though she knew that they need the money to pay the bills she began to hate everyone who had abandoned her except for her father.
During her school years was when she met a certain person who stood out the most to her. The girl's smile was so bright that it seemed to outshine everybody else. Lynn so desperately wanted to speak to the girl and ask her what was she so happy about all the time, but of course she lacked the confidence to go and speak to her; the same person became a large inspiration to Lynn. During a performance Lynn heard someone crying which was something she never wanted to hear. What had surprised her the most was that the same person who was crying was the same girl Lynn admired so much. Immediately without hesitation she walked over to the girl and tried to make her smile but for some reason she wouldn’t stop crying. With nothing else coming to mind, she reach over to the girl and patted her head and said “When you cry like this, I won't be able to see your smile.” After speaking to her, she noticed that the girl was no longer sad anymore. Quickly she ran away before the girl she admired could tell that Lynn herself was crying under her mask. She vowed that day that no matter what happens, she would perform her heart out to see everyone smile.
She endured the pain and ridicule she received from both her school and the town’s people who would come and watch Lynn perform, they even donated some money to her as a thank you for everything she was doing from them. Lynn’s father soon recovered from his illness and personally thanked his daughter for helping him by buying her an entire new costume with the money he was given to by his ex-wife; she hugged him and cried from the happiness she felt from the first gift she was ever given that actually had some meaning to her. School life never got any better but thanks to her excellent grades she was able to graduate earlier than the people who had bullied her, that only meant that she could continue making people happy more than she ever could have. It seemed that the long nights of studying finally paid off in the end. Currently she doesn’t worry about petty relationships and still lives at the same home which kept all of her best memories. With just the two of them living there alone, their financial status was stabilized and Lynn could finally breathe again. Though now she really wonders if anyone will become friends with a ‘pierrot’ like herself…..
She is the girl who is the reason why Lynn can still smile and see that the would truly doesn’t hold just horrible people.
-No one has ever seen what her eyes actually look like except for her parents and grandmother
-She honestly can be completely hopeless when it comes to cooking (thank goodness her mother left behind a cookbook or else Lynn would have burnt the house down)
-You will more than often see her wearing just a mask or her entire performance costume
